We’re off to our Kentucky Bourbon Trail again with Pam Howard, certified bourbon steward! A similar weekend trip ran 3 sold out trips in 2024. We’ll be in a luxury Mercedes Van with driver, and of course the amazing Pam will give you lessons and history as we navigate 3 days of bourbon distilleries. We’ll also have time for some very cool curated meals, and we’ll stay in a great hotel in Louisville directly on Whisky Row.

Join us on our Bourbon Trail Tour, with bourbon expert Pam Howard – our Wine and Spirits Travel Director here at Travel Avidly. Day 01 :

Depart Cool Springs for Bardstown

We’ll meet in the parking lot at Cool Springs Wine and Spirits located in Franklin TN at 7:00AM sharp to get in our luxury van. Then we’ll begin the drive to Kentucky, and along the way our guide Pam will educate us about all the fine nuances of bourbons and bourbon tasting. She’ll fill us in about the bourbon distilleries we will be visiting over the 3 days, and the special unique treats we may have the opportunity to get that aren’t normally available in liquor stores.

We should arrive in Bardstown Kentucky around 11:00AM, where we’ll go to these 3 distilleries to see what “special” things they may have.

We’ll provide a box lunch and bottled water in the van!

Next up at 3:00PM is a full, in-depth tour at Maker’s Mark Distillery, complete with complementary tastings. This will take a couple of hours.

From there we’ll drive into downtown Louisville, where we’ll check into our hotel. We’ll rest a bit, then meet up for dinner. After dinner, the night is yours to further explore downtown Louisville.

Day 2- Friday Downtown Louisville

After breakfast at the hotel, We will continue our bourbon explorations and enjoying another tour at a downtown distillery. Today we’ll visit these 8 distilleries (some are within easy walking distance from our hotel, others we will be driven to):
